Patient Resources

New Patients

At Mistry Dental, we are always happy to welcome new patients to our dental home.  If you are new to the area or looking for a dentist, we hope you will give us a chance to welcome you personally into the Mistry Dental community.

Please print and complete the attached New Patient Forms, and bring these with you to your first appointment. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our administrative team at (905) 890-0200. For dental emergencies and facial trauma, we accept walk-in patients. Click here for more information.

Dental Brochures

Our team of dental professionals is committed to empowering patients to make the best decisions for their overall health. We believe very strongly in patient education, but we also understand that it can be quite overwhelming to receive a lot of information while in the dental chair. That is why we are proud to present the following collection of online resources compiled by the Ontario Dental Association (ODA) in collaboration with our own graphics design team at Mistry Dental.

You can learn more about the connection between oral and systemic   health, oral health tips for expecting mothers, ways to better control your diabetes by improving your oral health, and many more interesting topics. Feel free to browse the links below and contact us to receive more personalized information about any of your dental concerns.

  • Bisphosphonate Use & Dental Care
  • Common Dental Procedures
  • Common Oral Lesions
  • Diabetes
  • Gum Disease
  • HIV-Associated Oral Infections
  • Managing Tooth Sensitivity
  • Oral Cancer Screening
  • Oral Side Effects of Cancer Treatment
  • Pregnancy

  • Procedural Videos

At Mistry Dental, we understand that patients put a lot of trust in dental professionals to care for their teeth without actually being able to watch the procedure. We also realize more patients are exploring the internet to better understand the details of dental treatment. To prevent misinformation and assist patients in furthering their dental knowledge, we suggest watching the following videos on common dental procedures. Contact our office if you have any questions or would like to learn more about a specific treatment.

These videos have been screened by our team for accuracy and similarity to the techniques used in our practice, but Mistry Dental does not own any of these videos.
